Aterah Nusrat, MSc, DIC
Aterah Nusrat, MSc, DIC, is the Director of Programming in Integrative Medicine and Planetary Health at the Osher Center for Integrative Health at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital. She has spent over 25 years delivering programs in the environmental sustainability and health and wellbeing sectors in the UK and United States.
In her twenties, she was recognized by the British Prime Minister's Office for developing and leading the nationwide implementation of the socially and environmentally responsible 'fonesforsafety' program in the UK. More recently, she secured over $1 million in grant funding and developed local sustainability initiatives for city government in the US.
Hand in hand with these pursuits, Ms. Nusrat spent over 20 years as a core practitioner in an international intentional spiritual community based on the eastern enlightenment lineage of Sri Ramana Maharshi.
Today she is bringing these professional and personal trajectories together at the Harvard Osher Center as the founding and current chair of the Osher Collaborative for Integrative Health Planetary Health Working Group, Invited Faculty of the Nova Institute for Health of People, Places and Planet, and as a member of the program committee for the 2024 International Congress on Integrative Medicine and Health.
