Sharing in collaboration.
Lynne Twist writes on stewarding the flow of money, “In Haiti, there is a saying – ‘If you get a piece of cake and eat the whole thing, you will feel empty. If you get a piece of cake and share half of it, you will feel both full and fulfilled.’ The happiest and most joyful people I know are those who express themselves through channeling their resources – money, when they have it – on their highest commitments. Theirs is a world where the experience of wealth is in the sharing what they have, giving, allocating, and expressing themselves authentically with the money they put in flow.” - The Soul of Money: Transforming Your Relationship with Money and Life

“In the context of sufficiency, philanthropy and service become an expression of interconnectedness. Committed philanthropy enables people to invest their wealth, not only in dollar amounts, but also with the energy of their intention. They become ‘vested in’ a future for us all …” Lynne Twist, The Soul of Money.
