Why do we still consider it altruism to prioritize the health of the Ocean?
As if our fates are not One and the same.
As if the Blood that flows in our veins will not plastify in lockstep with the Sea.
As if we stand apart from the unbroken chain of Life whose inception point is Blue.
Our Hearts know the truth - we Belong to this world.
And that is why they are Breaking.
There is no Flourishing alone.
It is time to stop running; to stop distracting.
To slow down; to be still.
To sit unflinchingly in the middle of the confusion and despair.
To let the pain wash over us so that we can remember what we are here to do.
The roar of the Ocean has been replaced by a scream.
Do you recognize the Voice?
